We feel strongly about supporting our local businesses. That’s why we have found the healthiest and yummiest ingredients that central Illinois has to offer.
Health
Our bread is baked with fresh, real food. Our flour is USDA certified organic. Our honey is raw. Our bread has zero refined sugar and zero preservatives.
The Environment
We use environmentally friendly packaging. We feel that it is important to try to preserve the Earth that God gave us and treat His creations well, that includes your body!
Meet the Baker
Sarah Kelsick started Mama’s Local Bread Company when she was furloughed from her job in 2020 during the pandemic and when the economy was in a valley. Definitely not the best environment to start a company, but she had recently heard that there is growth in the valley. She decided to try new things, meet new people, and put her determination towards something she believed in, finding healthy solutions that people would actually enjoy eating.
Sarah is wife to her beloved and mother to the most wonderful little boy.
